The Human Rights Consultative Committee (HRCC) is a network of over 90 civil society and non-governmental organizations that are working jointly to promote and protect human and people’s rights in Malawi. The network also works to promote governance by ensuring that public institutions are responsive to the needs of the people. HRCC operates on the understanding that government and its development partners have an important role in protecting people’s social, economic, civil and political rights and that people’s interests should be promoted with a sense of responsibility and accountability.

Chikondano Women & Allied Organisation
Chikondano Women and Allied Organization, a woman's organization based in Blantyre with vulnerable groups particularly orphans, widows and people living with HIV and AIDS (PLWHAs).
In 2010, the organization set out to implement different projects that aim at improving the living standards of the people, fighting HIV and AIDS and its impact, and advocacy activities seeking to improve human rights.
